Our Services:

The Laboratory at Lakeside Memorial Hospital provides high quality, comprehensive and consultation laboratory services to inpatients and outpatients, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  The laboratory utilizes the most accurate test methodologies available in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients.

The Laboratory provides on site testing in Bacteriology, Clinical Chemistry, Transfusion Services, Diagnostics Immunology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Histopathology, Toxicology, Therapeutic Quantitative Drug Monitoring, Urinalysis, and Virology. The Laboratory is licensed and accredited by the New York State Department of Health and the Joint Commission.

The Laboratory functions 24 hours per day and is managed by a Laboratory Manager under the direction of a Laboratory Director/Pathologist.  It is staffed by a NYS licensed or by a Medical Technologist and a phlebotomy team.
